Curriculum

Clandon Park Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), where learning is achieved through play. Next steps in learning are set for each group whereby the children are encouraged to reach a particular development stage before they move on to the next step in learning or transition into the next room at nursery or leave for school. We understand children develop at their own pace. Each child’s development is closely monitored and the curriculum is tailored accordingly to offer activities that invite and inspire your child to learn. Clandon Park nursery has a strong focus on adding in the learning as children play. This means children are always interested, excited and are open to learning in a fun way that has lots of meaning to them. This means that our Early educators (staff) have to really get to know your children so they can form a secure bond. From this security, children will enjoy their interactions with staff and are eager for them to join in their play.
